1. What is web hosting?

2. What is a domain name?

Well in order to have a website, you need a name for it. Your website's name works something like a phone number. It is the address where visitors type in their browser to visit your site. This is seperate from Web hosting. Domain names are usually purchased for a year or more, and by registering that domain name, you have complete control of it. You can host it wherever you like. 3. Why does your site look messed up in my old ancient browser?

If you are using older browsers such as Internet Explorer 6 or 7, our site will not display correctly. This is because our site is built using the latest Web language, HTML 5. Older browsers do not support this very well. The reason we chose to design our site in HTML 5 is that it is the new Web standard and will be fully adopted by all systems by 2014. Older browsers are security risks as well. So we highly recommend that you upgrade your browser so that our site looks great and your PC will be much more safe. We like to "Hook You Up", not mess you up.

4. As my Web Host, do you build my site for me?

As a Web Hosting service we simply provide you space on a server to run your site from and insure that your site is always up. We do not help with coding or designing your site in any way with our hosting services. However, we do offer free Web building tools and over 50 scripts and programs to assist you. Included with your hosting package are CMS such as Wordpress, Joomla, and Drupal. There are also shopping carts such as Magento and forums as well. If you do need help with building your site, we do offer Web Design as a separate service. We have been building high quality custom sites for over 10 years. 6. I'm new to web design, so do you help me get started building my web site?

We are a hosting company, so we do not  build your web site for you. We make sure your server is up and running smooth. However, we do offer many Web design tools that are included with all hosting plans, such as Wordpress, Joomla, and OS Commerce shopping cart software. In addition we provide an extensive collection of video tutorials to help you along that can be found by CLICKING HERE.

7. Are there any hidden costs?

No. The only additional costs would be if you were to upgrade or purchase additional products, such as another domain name or web design services.

8. What do I get for the monthly fee?

9. How long will it take to have my account up?

Generally, your account will be set up in 1-2 hours, and always within 24 hours of received payment. You will receive an email with the necessary login information once your account has been created.

10. Do you offer domain names for sale?

Yes. You can purchase a domain by clicking here, or by selecting the domain option when purchasing a hosting package.

11. What kind of support options do you have?

We offer 24 hour support through our support ticket system which can be accessed through the Client Login Page. We also offer phone support Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm Central standard time. Phone support can be reached at 763-280-3253.

12. How do I cancel my hosting account?

In order to cancel your posting package please e-mail the request to sales@hookeduphosting.com from your e-mail address that is associated with your hookeduphosting.com account.

13.Do you offer a money back guarantee?

Yes.  We offer a 14 day money back guarantee. In order to receive your refund if you must cancel within the 14 day time frame by sending cancellation request to sales@hookeduphosting.com  Please allow 10 to 14 business days for your refund to be credited back to your account.

14. When I sign up for a hookeduphosting.com package are there any contracts?

No, there are no term contracts.  You can cancel your account it anytime and you may request a refund of any unused monthly hosting payments.

15. How do I see how much I owe?

In order to access your Billing Account please go to the "client area" located at http://www.hookeduphosting.com/billing/whmcs/clientarea.php. This link is also in your "Welcome" email that you received at the time of signup.Your login information is also contained in your Welcome email. If you have deleted this information please contact support@hookeduphosting.com and we will resend the information to your primary email account.
